A free tool for shift workers — no email needed
Is your paycheque right?
You work the shifts. Someone else does the math. This checks it — in about two minutes, before or after payday.
1 Your pay
2 Your shifts in this pay period
Count every shift on one paycheque. If some shifts are longer than others, add another line.
3 Overtime where you work
Rules vary by place and by contract. Your workplace agreement wins — you can type your own numbers above.
I get a shift premium (nights, weekends, holidays)
4 Your paycheque (optional)
Payday comes back every two weeks
I am building a small app for shift workers: your roster and your pay in one place, so the math above is simply waiting for you every payday. If you want to be first to try it, leave your email. Nothing else will be done with it.
This tool estimates gross pay before tax and deductions, and assumes your hours were spread evenly across the weeks of the pay period. It is not legal, tax, or payroll advice. If the numbers do not match, ask payroll to walk you through it first — most gaps are honest mistakes, and the ones that are not tend to end once someone checks.
